(WTOC) - Georgia Governor Brian Kemp announced Wednesday that a new COVID-19 mass vaccination site will open in Chatham County. The site will open on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, at Gulfstream Aerospace near the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. The goal is to be able to give out nearly 1,100 shots a day. The Chatham County site is one of five new mass vaccination sites that are opening on St. Patrick’s Day in the state. The sites will operate Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
