A MASSIVE closing down sale is now on at River Island in Redditch's Kingfisher Shopping Centre. The fashion shop decided not to renew their lease at the centre and will close on Wednesday, June 16. The store is currently holding an in store sale across its women's, men's and children's departments. Ken Williams, general manager at Kingfisher, has said the announcement is said news for the shopping centre. He said: “River Island made a decision not to renew the lease when it expires. It is sad news for Kingfisher, our shoppers and the dedicated team who currently work there. "We are working hard to bring our visitors the very best shopping experience and look forward to announcing new tenants in the future.”
