View Comments Tuesday’s election is a cliffhanger for a host of cities, school districts and fire districts as they await word of whether they will be able to keep pools open and continue to serve the public as they have for years or if they will be forced to make major budget cuts. The Cascade School District; fire districts from Woodburn, Marion County and Mill City; and cities like Stayton and Monmouth have bonds or operational levies up for vote. It is too late to mail back ballots. Instead, drop them at any ballot location by 8 p.m. on election day.
