Guard members are meeting with local broadcasters to talk about the power of the media and how together they can share a message to attract those interested in serving the country. The event marked the third town hall held throughout the state to network and grow relationships. The Guard has been heavily involved during the pandemic inculding with Covid Testing, the George Floyd Trial, protests, and everything happening overseas. Most of the recruitment comes from local high schools, those 17 to 18-year-olds of age but with schools shut down by the pandemic, recruitment has been impacted.
