McGalliard Road Chipotle construction begins despite no official word chain's on its way

A former shoe store at 720 W. McGalliard Road will be the new site of a Chipotle.
MUNCIE, Ind. — While driving along McGalliard Road, you might have noticed the former Brinkman Children's Shoes store was getting a major face lift in recent weeks.

Soon, the spot at 720 W. McGalliard Road will be transformed into a Chipotle, as construction crews begin working inside and out.
While Chipotle has yet to announce officially that they're coming to Muncie, and did not reply to inquiries from The Star Press prior to this story's deadline, Mark Sturgis of ADM Real Estate, who listed the property, confirmed that the company is moving into the property.
