LEWISTOWN — Mifflin County Middle School in Lewistown is being forced to close for several days due to the number of COVID-19 cases among students and staff, the Mifflin County School District announced on Tuesday.
Mifflin County Middle School is closed Tuesday through Thursday and are tenatively scheduled to reopen for in-person instruction on Friday.
For Wednesday and Thursday of this week, MCMS teachers will execute a full remote learning plan to include synchronous live sessions for the students. A plan for the students will be sent via email to all MCMS parents and will be posted on the MCMS website.
