KUCHING: People in Sarawak will not be allowed in public spaces from 10pm to 5am without a good reason during the statewide movement control order which comes into effect on Saturday (May 29). According to an infographic of standard operating procedures (SOPs) released by the state Public Communications Unit on Friday (May 28), people may go out for medical treatment and to get food supplies, daily necessities, medication and dietary supplements. They can also go out to get their Covid-19 vaccination. Sarawak decided to impose the two-week MCO until June 11 as the state's health facilities were at a critical level from the spike in Covid-19 cases and the detection of variants of concern.
