04:16 EDT, 27 December 2020 A heartbroken mother has relived how she very nearly saved her daughter from being killed. Celeste Manno, 23, was allegedly stabbed to death by Luay Nader Sako, who is accused of stalking her for months, in her bed in Mernda, in Melbourne's north, on November 14. As her mum Aggie Di Mauro celebrated the first Christmas without her beloved daughter she wondered if there was more she could have done to save Ms Manno from being killed. 'I thought if I'd ask her to sleep in my room that night, maybe she could have agreed,' Ms Di Mauro told the Herald Sun.
