Maryland is right behind and has five first-placed votes, and North Carolina is still third — the tier that’s been leading the charge all year remaining in tact. An ACC team is next, but it’s Notre Dame this week, rising to No. 4 after drubbing Syracuse in the Carrier Dome. Syracuse fell to No. 9. With Virginia at 6, all ACC teams still remain in the Top 10.
