mental health: Study Warns: Atypical work hours in youth linked to poor health at 50

Young adults who work atypical hours, such as outside the traditional nine-to-five schedule, may experience poorer physical and mental health by the age of 50, according to a new study. The research, based on data from over 7,000 individuals in the US spanning 30 years, found that disrupted sleep patterns due to volatile work schedules were associated with depressive symptoms later in life.
