Forecasters at the Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for wind, which is in place between 8pm last night (July 29) and 12pm today (July 30). The national forecaster is warning of "a spell of strong to gale force winds which may cause damage to infrastructure and lead to travel disruption". Stretches of the M5 are becoming congest, particularly around Upton-on-Severn towards Gloucester, from Thornbury past Bristol to Clevedon, and Weston-super-Mare to Taunton.
