Stacey Metcalfe, a prominent local business and nonprofit leader, was named the new head of Morven Park, a 1,000-acre park on the north side of Leesburg. Metcalfe will serve as executive director of the Westmoreland Davis Memorial Foundation and CEO of Morven Park. She will begin in her new position on Jan. 11. The Westmoreland Davis Memorial Foundation owns and operates the park, a popular destination that includes a historic house museum, walking and hiking trails, formal boxwood gardens and renowned equestrian center. âMorven Park contributes to the overall health of our community in countless ways,â Metcalfe said Thursday in a prepared statement. âThe Park provides free civics lessons to our schools, boosts equestrian sport in the county, serves as a unique tourist destination, and is the perfect âgreen spaceâ for anyone looking to get outside and explore, to exercise, or even just relax in nature. This position combines many of the causes Iâve supported over the years, and Iâm honored to have been selected to continue the Morven Park legacy.â
