MFA appoints Head of Global Policy Submitted 10/12/2020 - 5:04pm The Managed Funds Association (MFA), the trade association for the hedge fund and global alternative investment industry, has appointed Andrew Lowenthal as Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Head of Global Policy. Lowenthal comes to MFA from the office of Rep Carolyn Maloney (D-NY-12), where he served as chief of staff. He begins his new role in early January and will be based in Washington, DC.

He has a deep understanding of the industry and how we create value for our investors, many of whom are public pensions, charitable foundations and university endowments.
