Eastern Market Brewing pulled the cans from sales and production that same day. The beer has been on-draft in the company's Detroit taproom and its Ferndale Project location, however, said Dayne Bartscht, managing partner of the brewery. The company spoke with Sanders' attorney and received a cease-and-desist letter from the National Football League and the National Football League Players Association, but that's been resolved, Bartscht said. “Same Old Lager kicked off with a false start after early motion by the running back,” the post stated. “Time to air it out.” The beer was available in cans at the company's two locations on Friday, and deliveries of it begin Saturday, Bartscht said.
