Michigan courts keeping mask mandate, say too difficult to identify who is vaccinated

The move by the courts to essentially ignore  state and federal guidance is likely one of the first of many for Michigan agencies and businesses, as leaders try to understand how best to navigate rules that require masks for the unvaccinated but allow those who are immunized to go without a mask. 
COVID-19 trends in Michigan — the worst in the nation, despite weeks of improvement — warrant ongoing vigilance, State Court Administrator Thomas P. Boyd wrote in a memo Friday to all state judges and courts.
