Michigan reports 3,676 new cases, 9 reported days of case decline Tuesday, April 27

Michigan reported 3,676 new coronavirus cases and 105 deaths Tuesday, April 27.
Of the 105 deaths reported Tuesday, 48 occurred prior to the last 24 hours and were found during a vital records review. These reviews take place three times per week.
The state is averaging 4,341 new COVID-19 cases per day and 63 new deaths per day over the last week. This is the lowest seven-day average since March 27, when the weekly average was 3,965 cases per day. This is the ninth reported day of day-over-day decline for cases.
