LANSING — Think Buffalo Wild Wings, but without the alcohol. That's how co-owner Teresa Stokes described Wing Heaven Sports Haven, the state's first sober bar, which opens in Lansing next week. It has the TVs, the pool tables, the air hockey — everything a sports bar needs to be successful. Just no alcohol. The bar caters specifically to people who are in recovery or on probation or parole — anyone who cannot or does not want to be around alcohol, Stokes said. "When you are on probation or anything, you can't even go to Applebee's because they serve alcohol," Stokes said. "But you still need somewhere to go and have social engagement other than AA or NA meetings."
