Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible. The Portsmouth Police Department reported the fire around 2:45 p.m., saying traffic congestion was likely in the area of two-mile corner as crews worked to extinguish the fire. Rhode Island Breaking News Source reported that the fire warranted two alarms and was at 15 King Rd, which is off of West Main. Several minutes later, the account tweeted that Providence Canteen 2 was called in to assist.
