Kim Jackson (D â Stone Mountain) was officially sworn into the Georgia Senate to represent Senate District 41 and is recognized as Georgiaâs first LGBTQ State Senator. âI am honored to be afforded the opportunity to represent the people of Senate District 41 in the state Capitol and I am humbled by the trust displayed in me,â said Sen.
