The Milford Daily News MILFORD — Beatrice Muanya came to the United States in 2013 from Cameroon, seeking opportunity for herself and her four children. “For greener pastures,” she said, of why she moved her family. “To get more advantages, more knowledge. …. to not have boundaries.” This afternoon, Muanya will reach a major milestone toward that objective, as she will be among 568 MassBay Community College students graduating in a virtual ceremony. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. Muanya will leave MassBay with an associate’s degree in human services and continue her education at William James College in Newton (formerly the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology), with the goal of becoming a behavioral analyst.
