Millcreek Township Supervisors approve purchase of police equipment, training Erie Times-News The Millcreek Township Board of Supervisors at recent board meetings approved the purchase of equipment and training for the township's 60-member police force, Township Supervisor Jim Bock said. Supervisors approved an $8,104 allocation for eight officers to attend the Ohio Tactical Officers Training Conference in June. The board of supervisors also approved the purchase of 15 ballistic body armor vests and helmets for $60,779, and 51 PASGT helmets and 61 face shields for $17,770. Supervisors said the approvals are "in keeping with Millcreek Township's further commitment to providing their officers with the latest training and equipment."
