The Mini Remastered Oselli Edition promises a luxurious but sporty take on the British classic, without resorting to modern powertrains.
The Mini Remastered Oselli Edition, produced by David Brown Automotive, offers a reworked interior and upgraded BMC engine, aiming for street and track use.
The 125-hp Mini with plenty of leather and Alcantara inside, is a luxury take on the 1960s classic, but doesn't use modern more powertrain tech in the recipe.
First examples of the 60-car run will begin deliveries in 2022.
If you thought that just about everyone was done developing and tuning the original Mini given how long it's been out of production, the reality is quite different. David Brown Automotive, perhaps best known for the Speedback GT (and not to be confused with Aston Martin's David Brown), has just produced the first example of its most powerful Mini Remastered model, dubbed Oselli Edition in a nod to the racing engine specialists. The result is a thoroughly reengineered Mini built to order, with a BMC A-series engine redeveloped together with Oselli.
