(WKBT) — Alexander Cappard, 26, of Apple Valley, Minn., was sentenced Tuesday to 66 months in prison for distributing methamphetamine in Eau Claire, Wis. Cappard pleaded guilty to the charge on Sept. 29, according to court records. Cappard A confidential government informant bought 52 grams of methamphetamine from Cappard and his co-defendant, Alisha Heiman, at a hotel room in Eau Claire, according to arrest records. Officers executed a search warrant at Cappard’s hotel room. He attempted to flee, but officers arrested him after a brief chase. During the search, officers found a loaded firearm, a bag containing 69 grams of methamphetamine and a digital scale in the bathroom.
