Nour Rahal and Minnah Arshad Detroit Free Press The case of a missing Bay City couple and their baby boy has ended in tragedy with their bodies discovered over the weekend in a wooded area of northern Michigan, authorities said Monday. Amanda Pomeroy, 32, Michael Dougherty, 35, and Jacob Dougherty, 8 months, were found off of Stoney Ridge Road in Rose Township at about 4:24 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Ogemaw County Sheriff's Office. They were reported missing on Jan. 16, but family members said they were last seen Jan. 12. Deputies at the scene found the family of three outside the vehicle, which had become disabled.
