If you've never treated yourself to watching a Formula E race, you're missing out on a trick: a fully electric vehicular world championship, where drivers race around the streets of the world's biggest cities. “It's a pretty cool moving circus around the world,” said Mitch Evans, a Formula E driver for Jaguar. “Street tracks provide a very high level of concentration and are very demanding: there's no room for error.” But Formula E isn't just about the racing: it's trying to have an impact on the world too. Mitch Evans grew up with petrol, “But now the world is moving to EVs and to be at the forefront of that transition is pretty cool.” The sport is also pushing to make its fans more aware of climate issues and how to “have a positive impact on the world”. Plus, as part of their new campaign “Change Accelerated”, they're also running a chance for young, diverse filmmakers to be able to join their in-house production team.
