The storm in the north could create dangerous fire conditions in the south. | April 17, 2021, 11:46 p.m. Drivers in Utah could see reduced visibility from blowing dust as a storm hits Northern Utah on Monday. The National Weather Service says the wind will begin during the late morning or early afternoon and should end shortly after sunset. Gusts could exceed 30 mph and might bring rain and snow across northern valleys and mountains. Don’t get too relaxed down south, though. Widespread strong winds are expected on Monday afternoon as a storm system scrapes across far northern Utah and southwest Wyoming.
