Replies(4) MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The pandemic continues to steadily wane across Montgomery County, as case numbers plummet from the brief early spring surge. In fact, COVID-19 now has its lowest presence in the county since March 2020. The county's positivity rate is now all the way down to 2.47 percent. "While there's still work to be done, as a County, we should be very proud of how far we've come," Montgomery County Commissioner Val Arkoosh said Wednesday. "If you've haven't yet gotten vaccinated, I urge you to so we can celebrate even more milestones soon." Subscribe A positivity rate below 5 percent indicates "suppression" of the virus. The county has been below this point for 23 of the last 28 days, officials said.
