Monument Market returns after Covid-19 restrictions closure

A popular Helston market returned yesterday (May 13) after Covid-19 restrictions forced it close for months.
Monument Market, which is held behind the Grylls Monument on Coinagehall Street, made its long-awaited return yesterday after having to postpone due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.
The market was held between its usually hours of 10am and 2pm and saw stalls and marquees return a little bit of pre-pandemic normality to Helston.
The Monument Market has become a popular destination for shoppers and stall owners alike, with its relaxing ambience, easy-listening music and wide selection of goods and products to discover and enjoy.
The market also tries to encourage stall operators to look after the environment by discouraging the use of polystyrene and single-use plastics such as cups, plastic bags and containers.
