More Accumulating Snow Expected for the Rockford-area Next Week Back in August, I shared the Farmer's Almanac prediction for a wallop of a winter. Actually, my exact words were. "Farmer's Almanac says winter is going to suck for Rockford." So far, it is more than accurate. Guess what? It's not over yet. As of this article, the Rockford area has about 71 inches of snow on the ground. Of course, that is a monstrous exaggeration but it seems like it isn't far off, doesn't it? Just as our vehicles are getting covered in salty and ugly snow, it appears as though more snow is on the way. Awesome. Not.
