TROWBRIDGE Primary Care Network has given first dose Covid vaccinations to nearly 4,000 local people in the last three weeks. The network says it is well ahead of the ambitious government targets to vaccinate the most vulnerable groups by mid-February. Suzanne Petty, administrative practice manager at the Lovemead Group Practice, said: “Trowbridge PCN has had a busy and successful start to offering a COVID vaccination service to the local population since first receiving vaccine at the beginning of the month. “The PCN, which comprises both Trowbridge Health Centre and Lovemead Group Practice (Roundstone Surgery), working collaboratively managed to secure an extra batch of vaccine last week which means they have been able to run clinics at the Wingfield Road surgery site each week. As a result vaccination has been offered to almost all people aged over 80 most of whom have taken up the offer.”
