Scattered storms possible again Monday There is a low-end risk some of the storms could be strong enough to produce damaging wind or hail from Charlotte eastward across the Carolinas. Through the afternoon hours, the possibility of seeing scattered storms increased. Parts of Rowan and Iredell counties were under Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for part of the evening, but those warnings have since expired. "We probably have a better chance of organized storms over the Triangle," Brad said in his morning weather vblog on YouTube. "If we were going to see a tornado risk, it would be in that area."
