Date Time More support for ACT hospitality businesses ACT hospitality businesses will get a boost this July with many doing it tougher than usual this winter as a result of COVID-19. Canberra on-licence venues will be able to sell takeaway alcohol and offer it for home delivery from today until the end of July. Businesses can choose to take advantage of this offer to sell liquor for consumption off premises. The Minister for Business and Better Regulation Tara Cheyne said the ACT Government is continuing to look for ways to support our businesses during this quieter than normal period. “Canberrans are reminded that this is a great time to support the local businesses that support us,” said Minister Cheyne.
