More than 80,000 people inoculated in West Bengal in six days, 11 lakh targetted in next phase

Of the over 30,000 frontline staff inoculated on January 22, 11 AEFI cases were recorded. In most of such cases, people are experiencing vertigo, headache and nausea.

Kolkata: The state health department yesterday said that 84,505 healthcare staff had been inoculated in West Bengal in the last six days of the vaccination drive.
In the next phase the government was prepared to vaccinate 11 lakh frontline staff, including police personnel and KMC officials, according to sources of The Indian Express. The list would include people working in the offices of district magistrates.
