2021-04-06 15:14:13 Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 6, Minister of Health S.Enkhbold and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba Raul Delgado Concepcion signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health of Mongolia and the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba.
Under the MoU, the sides will cooperate in efforts to support health, communicable and non-communicable disease control and prevention, medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnological research, and primary health care.
During the signing ceremony, Minister S.Enkhbold said the development and achievements of health care and medical sciences in Cuba are well known to the people of Mongolia and that health professionals who studied in dentistry in Cuba have been leading in their field. The Minister also outlined the actions the government of Mongolia is taking against the COVID-19 pandemic.
