All right. That does it for us tonight. My new book, prequel, goes on sale tonight at midnight, both the
Print Version
and the audiobook version which i recorded. I am very nervous about that, but its happening, whether or not im nervous. Now, its time for the last word with lawrence odonnell. Good evening, lawrence. Good evening, rachel. In the latest information about the president s trip to israel, as the report indicated, they already made an agreement with
Benjamin Netanyahu
that there will be a deal on how to handle humanitarian aid. And that is the kind of thing that is frequently done before these meetings, so that they are guaranteed some results. Im gonna ask ben rhodes about this when he joins us in this hour. Excellent. I was just talking about that with ayman as well. Sometimes, you stack a president ial visit like this with an announcement so the president can be there to announce the details and it is paired with this visit. I really hope that we get some meat on the bones on that announcement because it could be it is life or death for hundreds of thousands of people. It is what everyone is waiting to hear. Thank you. Thanks, lawrence. The state of israel was established in 1948. 26 years later in 1974,
Richard Nixon
became the first president of the
United States
to visit israel. Most president s since then have visited israel at least once. But no president of the
United States
has ever visited israel during wartime. Tonight,
Secretary Of State
Antony Blinken
speaking in israel at 3 04 a. M. , made this historic announcement. Good morning. On wednesday,
President Biden
will visit israel. Hes coming here at a critical moment for israel, for the region, and for the world. And he is coming here to do the following. First, the president will reaffirm the
United States
solidarity with israel, and our ironclad commitment to its security. President biden will again make clear, as hes done unequivocally, since hamas slaughter of more than 1400 people, including at least 30 americans, that israel has the right and indeed the duty to defend people from hamas and other terrorists and to prevent future attacks. The president will hear from israel what it needs to defend its people, as we continue to work with congress to meet those needs. Second,
President Biden
will underscore our
Crystal Clear
message to any actor, state or non state, trying to take advantage of this crisis to attack israel. Dont. To that end, he is deployed to
Aircraft Carrier
groups and other military assets to the region. Third, the president will continue to coordinate closely with our israeli partners to secure the release of hostages taken by hamas, including men, women, small children,
Holocaust Survivors
, and american citizens, as an indispensable humanitarian effort. Fourth,
President Biden
will receive a comprehensive brief on israels warnings and strategies. Fifth, the president will hear from israel how it will conduct its operations in a way that minimizes civilian casualties and enables humanitarian assistance to flow to civilians in gaza in a way that does not benefit hamas. To that end, today, and at our request, the
United States
and israel have agreed to develop a plan that will enable humanitarian aid from donor nations and multilateral organizations to reach civilians in gaza. And them alone, including the possibility of creating areas, to help keep civilians out of harms way. It is critical that aid begin flowing into gaza as soon as possible. We share the concern that hamas may seize or destroy aid entering gaza or otherwise preventing it from reaching it from people who needed. If hamas in any way blocks humanitarian assistance from reaching civilians, including by seizing the aid itself, it we will be the first to condemn it, and we will work to prevent it from happening again. We welcome the government of israels commitment to work on this plan. The president is looking forward to discussing it further when he is here on wednesday. Thanks very much. After
Secretary Blinken
s announcement,
National Security
Council Spokesperson
john kirby said this. On the same day that the president travels to israel, he will travel to amman, jordan, where he will meet with majesty king abdullah, the egyptian president sisi and
Palestinian Authority
president mahmoud abbas. Joining us now from the
Israel Gaza Border
is nbc news correspondent ellison barber. Ellison, what is
President Biden
likely to see or be in the middle of when he arrives in israel . Reporter you know, thats the big question. We have seen u. S. Senators,
Majority Leader
senator
Chuck Schumer
, and republican senator mitt romney, who visited israel in recent days. They were here yesterday. And there was an
Air Raid Siren
in tel aviv. They had to be rushed into a shelter. That is a very real risk for all of israel right now. And that certainly will be a risk when the president is here. This is not going to be his first visit to a war zone as president. Remember, in february of this year, he did spend 24 hours on the ground in kyiv, ukraine. We were just in a press briefing, a phone press briefing, with a spokesperson for the idf, and we were able to ask him if he thinks there will be any sort of impact or delay to their military plans because of the president s visit. I want to read you a little of what he said. This is
Lieutenant Colonel
jonathan. He said to our question, short answer is, i dont know. We will have to see. A little bit of a longer answer, he said, i dont think so, but we will have to see. And we would probably have more information tomorrow morning. I am sure the
Israeli Government
will make statements. He went on to say, i dont think that the aim of this visit is to hinder at all meaning, israels
Military Operation
s. He said im sure what needs to be done is just to minimize the chances of a regional escalation, and to make sure, as a show of support and commitment to israel security, that israel has everything it needs to defend itself. The idf has said the next phase of this war will include an integrated and coordinated attack from air, sea, and land. We have been in this area on the north part, just to the north of gaza, on the
Israel Gaza Border
for days now. At about 1 40 am local time, we started to hear one of the most significant volleys of artillery that we have heard in the last couple of days. It began at about 1 40 am local time. It lasted until 3 00 am. Heavy caliber artillery fired in the direction of gaza. Let me let you listen to some of that because it will give you a sense of whats going on here and what the president could potentially see and hear during his visit. Listen. Reporter okay, they are saying we dont have that sound. But i can tell you, lawrence, it was constant. It was waves. You would see the flash in the distant, near gaza, near where we are. And then, you would hear that loud boom. There have been lulls in the last couple of days as weve been here. But we have seen this constant
Military Presence
and escalation of troops, tanks, other equipment along the border here. Everything we have seen suggesting they are in a position to launch that anticipated ground assault. As soon as they decide the time is right. But, you know, obviously, a president ial visit could change things in some way in the region. But exactly how, we dont know. But there is not much control in a war zone, and thats the reality anytime the president makes a visit like this. Lawrence . Ellison barber, reporting from israel, thank you very much for starting off our coverage at this hour. Thank you. And joining us now is ben rhodes, former deputy
National Security
adviser for president obama. He is an msnbc political analyst. Ben, it seems likely that israel will not launch a land invasion, or
Ground Invasion
of gaza before
President Biden
leaves israel. Yes, lawrence. I cant imagine that israel would do that, both because of the potential risk of escalation while
President Biden
is there. And also, just because i think the purpose of this visit is to have a consultation, a full, robust, comprehensive consultation between
President Biden
and the
Israeli Government
before they launch that invasion. So, i think that this indicates that the timeline for that
Ground Invasion
is likely moving a bit to the right here. In the less than three minutes,
Secretary Blinken
laid out the agenda for
President Biden
when he comes to israel. He easily described the single most important meeting by a president of the
United States
in israel that has ever occurred. Yes, not even close, lawrence. I mean, this is absolutely unprecedented. Obviously, whats happened in israels unprecedented. The risk of regional escalation is unprecedented. And the idea of a president flying in that kind of circumstance, where there is literal danger in terms of the rockets that are continue to come at tel aviv, but also, there risks about not knowing where exactly this is going. What is clear is that
Secretary Blinken
was on that trip. He went to every major partner, arab partner in the region, after consulting with israel. And clearly, what he determined is there are a number of issues where its absolutely central to the u. S. And israel, theyre on the same page. How do we prevent regional escalation . What is the messaging that has to be done to iran, and proxies like hezbollah, to prevent escalation . How can we ensure a sufficient humanitarian component to end the israeli operation in gaza that does not set the region on fire . And im sure thats the message that
Secretary Blinken
was getting from those arab partners, that we have to take every step possible to both have an israeli operation, and abiding by the laws of war, but also mitigates the arm to palestinian civilians. Clearly,
Secretary Blinken
took all those messages from arab leaders back to israel, compared notes, and saw whether or not the time was right for
President Biden
to step in like this. And the fact that he was meeting with seven hours with
Prime Minister
netanyahu indicates this is real substance, right . This wasnt window dressing, the
Secretary Meeting
with a foreign leader to tee up the president s visit. They were really negotiating the agenda, the deliverables, the announcements that will come from
President Biden
as well during that visit. Yeah, at the
Washington Post
is reporting, u. S. Officials waited to announce
President Biden
s traveled to israel until they received commitments from israeli
Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu
on a humanitarian package monday night, according to two u. S. Officials familiar with the discussions. And then, thats all about that sevenhour meeting that
Secretary Blinken
was in. Thats right. And you heard even in his remarks, tonys remarks, i think, they clearly indicated what the back and forth and the points of tension are on this. On the one hand, there is an overwhelming imperative to address the humanitarian crisis in gaza, and that is growing more acute. And then, again, it really was the concern that tony blinken heard from all the different arab leaders, and obviously from leaders around the world. On the other hand, you heard in his messaging what the israelis are concerned about, which is that we provide a humanitarian corridor into gaza. We start shipping aid into gaza. If we create safe zones in gaza, then hamas will manipulate that, that they will disrupt the aid, try to get their hands on things that might be used for military purposes as well. So, i think you heard, even though you heard those remarks from tony blinken, we heard exactly what was discussed in that meeting with
Prime Minister
netanyahu, which is that u. S. Wanting to make sure that there was a commitment to humanitarian effort to alleviate the situation in gaza. But israel wanting to hear from the
United States
that we understand that there is a risk that hamas could try to take advantage of that. And that clearly was a big part of the discussion in that meeting that tony blinken had in israel. There is a lesson, i would say, in the last 24 hours for people watching this coverage across television networks, with the president
Last Night On
60 minutes, he was asked, pressed about humanitarian aid in gaza. And he was minimally forthcoming. He certainly said that it is necessary, we have to figure out something. The team is working on something. And of course, much more was going on than what was indicated in his answers 24 hours ago. 24 hours later, you see a hint of how much more. And of course, that means whatever we know tonight, there is even more going on underneath that. Thats exactly right, lawrence. I have been in situations like this. This one is perhaps more acute. But what has been going on is constant communication between the secretary of defense, the pentagon, and the idf, between im sure, the nsc,
National Security
adviser,
Jake Sullivan
and his counterparts. Tony blinken did a shuttle of diplomacy around the region. And really, the position of
United States
has meant
President Biden
has put himself in. He saw the trauma that this attack imposed on israel, they the horrific nature of it. And the imperative to respond. He wrapped his arms around israel, quite literally, with his initial messaging. But then, obviously, theyre also looking to see theres risk here. There is risk that this
Military Operation
goes forward in haste, that it could prompt a regional escalation. As weve talked about, hezbollah coming in, the west bank exploding,
Arab Public Opinion
exploding. There is risk, obviously, to the civilians in gaza. Clearly, what the
United States
has been trying to do, saying to israel, lets take just a moment here, and think through how can we manage this operation . We know you are going to undertake that in ways that mitigate that risk. But theyre more likely to prevent regional escalation. We, the
United States
, will show you our commitment to our security, not just through our messaging, but by two
Aircraft Carrier
groups that are being sent to this mission to send a message to iran to stay out of this. At the same time, though, we need to see something from israel that indicates that they understand that the world is watching the humanitarian in crisis in gaza as well. It is incredibly complicated, but clearly, the administration once that messaging done in private, when it comes to the nature of the humanitarian crisis and how to alleviate that. The only tip of the hand,
President Biden
does not want to see a full reoccupation of gaza. But underneath that, in order for his visit to happen, because it is incredibly consequential and a risky step, lawrence. They are leaning into this thing. There was this, you have ownership of whatever happens next. But the reward is you can impact events and you can prevent that regional escalation. And you might be able to alleviate the humanitarian crisis. And clearly, joe biden is determined that its better to lean in and try to have a new take some risk about where this thing might go, than to step back. President biden, he always seems to have his eye on the risk, and of course the possible reward but then also. And perhaps more than others have in the past in israel, what he sees as his duty. Yes. You know, its both something he feels intuitively. And i dont know how many times i was in a room with
President Biden
when he would tell the story about going there in the 70s for the first time and meeting with
Prime Minister
gould mayer of israel, and telling him that the reason that were gonna be here is that we dont have anywhere else to go. Its something he feels intuitively. The other thing that i think is really important, lawrence, psychologically, i think, he understands that israelis feel vulnerable right now. They feel isolated. It is always the case. There are few places on earth where people are more appreciative of visits, of people stepping feet on the ground than israel. I cant even imagine what the impact of this visit will be on the psychology of israel, given how
Vulnerable People
are feeling right now. They are seeing the

Prime Minister netanyahu and
President Biden, two people who havent agreed on anything, they come from different ends of political spectrum. Its gonna be an incredibly consequential meeting in terms of the substance, in addition to the symbolism of this visit. Ben rhodes, thank you very much for joining us, really appreciate it. Apartment Building where
Chuck Schumer lives, this weekend. The people arrested including rabbis and
Holocaust Survivors who participated in a demonstration organized by a group called the jewish voice for peace. Some of the signs in that group said, stop the genocide against palestinians. Its never been a secret where
Chuck Schumer lives. He was born in brooklyn, and everyone knew how to find his father, abe schumer, an exterminator, when they needed him. Chuck schumer went to new york city public schools, then harvard college, then harvard law school. And no matter how much he achieved, he never thought moving up in the world meant moving across the river to manhattan, brooklyn was always good enough for
Chuck Schumer. Chuck schumer was not home when those demonstrators who got arrested for blocking traffic in front of his
Apartment Building. He was on his way to israel. As the first jewish
Majority Leader and the highest ranking jewish
Elected Official ever in america, i felt i had to be here. I wanted to be here, but i also had an obligation to be here. And we had good and productive meetings with
Prime Minister netanyahu,
National Unity
Party Chairman benny gantz. We met with some of the families of these hostages today. As a parent or grandparent, it is truly heartwrenching. We wept as they told their stories. It was such a beautiful, brave people. And every second seems like a day as they are wondering what has happened to their child, to their parent, to their brother, to their sister. We also experienced what israelis experience almost every day. We were having a lunch up in the hotel, and the sirens went off. We heard them, and we were all rushed into a shelter and had to say stay there until it was clear. And then a few minutes ago, this
Press Conference was delayed for the same reason. So, israelis are effective affected all the time by hamass warlike attitudes. Look, there are no words for the horror that happened last saturday. It shook me to my core. I think about it all the time. I see the pictures of the little children, and i think, what if this happened to my four year old grandson . Most jews killed in a single day since the holocaust, more than on kristallnacht. It was horrible. Kristallnacht was the night that changed everything in the lives of german jews who had not already fled germany under adolf hitlers dictatorship. It was
November Of 1938 when nazis and hitler and german civilians throughout germany went on a rampage against jewish people, first attacking jewish businesses, breaking all the glass and their windows. There was piles of glass in the street, that later inspired the name kristallnacht, which literally means crystal night. They broke all the glass still inside jewish shops, killed more than 100 jewish people, rounded up 30,000 jewish men and sent them to
Concentration Camps. A year later, adolf hitler started world war ii and his
Concentration Camps became death camps where hitler and the nazis executed 6 million jews, every jew always feels connected to the holocaust and kristallnacht. I first learned about what happened on a kibbutz where hamas herded everyone, about 100 people, into a room, a recreation room, and then slaughtered them, machine gunned every one of them down. And it reminded me of a story in my family, my great grandmother was a wife of a famous rabbi who had previously died in a town in western ukraine. The nazis came in. They then started to gather her
Greater Family on the porch. Approximately, 35 people gathered from ages 88 to 3 months. The nazis said you are coming with us. She said, were not going. And they machine gunned everyone there. So unfortunately, we all know the depth of the agony that israel feels. Lets not forget that hamas does not believe in any jewish state. If you read some of their covenants and charters, they would do to the jewish people and the rest of israel what they did to the people of the gaza border. They must be stopped. Unlike hamas, civilized democracies, like the u. S. And like israel, must hold themselves to a higher standard. The
Biden Administration has underscored that democracies like ours are stronger and more secure when we uphold the rule of law. We need to echo that to the
Prime Minister of israel and to every israeli official we met. We told them that as well as military assistance, intelligence assistance, diplomatic assistance, we wanted humanitarian assistance. And i said to them, find the fastest, safest, and most efficient way to do so. We also told them it was really important, and its difficult, we know its difficult, but, still, we have to minimize civilian casualties in gaza. October 7th is a day that will no doubt live in infamy. My guess is i will think of it every day for the rest of my life, just as i think of 9 11 every day for the rest of my life. Joining our discussion now is democratic congressman adam schiff of california. He served in the
January 6th Select Committee and was the
Leader Impeachment Manager for the first
Impeachment Trial of donald trump. Hes running for the senate now in california. Congressman schiff, we just heard
Chuck Schumer say we all know the depth of the agony that israel feels. And in that usage of we, he meant jews, he meant people like himself who have that story in their families, their
Family Members being gunned down and killed the way jews were killed on october 7th. Well, i think you are absolutely right, lawrence. Its hard to find anyone in the
Jewish Community, anyone in the world, who isnt devastated, shocked, horrified, who isnt, i think, on the verge of tears with every story that comes out, every video that we see, every witness account, every family is hardly over whether their loved ones are still alive or lost. It is opening a wound that has never closed. And we feel its so keenly. At the same time, we feel resolved. And we will do everything we can to help israel defend itself, help provide the material it needs to defend itself, do everything in our power to protect israel from the opening of a second front in the north with iranian backed hezbollah. Israel is enormously vulnerable right now. It will be another terrible blow to his if it had to fight a war on two fronts. And i also want to speak, i think, for the
Jewish Community, expressing enormous pride with
President Biden, how hes handled this, and his tremendous empathy for israelis going through, and for his own resolve to wrap his arms around israel and do what we can to protect israel. But also his humanity, and the efforts he is making to meet the humanitarian needs of people in gaza and do so in a way that doesnt diminish israels capability of defending itself. So, a lot of emotions, i think, for all of us in the
Jewish Community right now. I want to get a sense of how shocked you were, as a former chairman of the house intelligence committee, where on a daily basis, you are aware of the kinds of threats in that region that we had intelligence about. And i am just wondering, given that history, just the level of shock you felt when this happened, or whether there was anything in what you in the course of your time looking at intelligence that it may do somehow less surprised about this that the rest of us. Lawrence, i think it was quite the opposite. That is, given the close exposure i had to israeli intelligence, and our close working relationship, it made the shock all the more severe that something of this magnitude could happen, that we would not have for knowledge of it, that apparently israel had no for knowledge, or very little knowledge of the magnitude of what was happening. It was, really, just incomprehensible, the scope of. It. I mean, the sheer barbarity of it, of course, you know, we knew that hamas were terrorists, and this is what they do. They kill, they kidnap, they rape. They have no respect for human life. They use their own people as human shields. That is not new. But that they would have the capacity to do something on this magnitude, without israel beating better prepare, it was a shock. Look, i never blame the victor here. Israel is the victim of this heinous hamas attack. And were gonna have to work more and more closely with israel in the days and weeks to come, both to get our hostages back and make every effort to keep them alive, but also so that we help israel and the very dangerous undertaking its about to go through. And i have to say, you know, my heart goes out to all the parents of those reservists that have been called off for the idf. There is 300,000, all their parents, their
Family Members were gonna be desperately worried, and all the trauma theyre gonna experience in trying to take out this hamas threat while doing everything they can to minimize civilian casualties. How important is it that
President Biden has apparently a
Pre Wired Agreement now with netanyahu about and humanitarian assistance for the people in gaza . I think it is wonderful, first of all, lawrence, that the president is going to israel right now. And i think there is no overstating the importance of that, not just symbolically, but the degree to which it really, i think, cement the relationship between our two countries in israels most profound hour of need since 1973, since 1948. This is going to be monumental showing up support. And so, again, i am so proud that the president is doing this. But as with all visits, and particularly during a wartime visit, you need to make sure things are looked at. You dont want in any way to either, a, interrupt the israeli effort to defend itself, you dont want a timetable to be adjusted by a visit. There are greater urgencies. But also, you dont want any kind of discord between these two leaders. So, its important to nail all this down in advance, and i think they have. Representative adam schiff, thank you very much for joining us tonight. Thanks, lawrence. Coming up, defendant trump got hit with another gag order today, this time by a

Out In The Sun where i would have never done that before. Today,
Federal Judge tanya try golo. It works. Chutkan issued a
Gag Order On Defendant donald trump in the case of the
United States of america versus donald j trump, which charges trump with federal crimes leading up to and on
January 6thnd his attempt to illegally overturn the president ial election. At the end of the hearing on the matter today, judge chutkan said, i will not impose any additional restrictions on statements criticizing the government generally, including the
Biden Administration or the justice department, or statements communicating that mr. Trump believes this prosecution to be politically motivated. I will, however, prohibit all parties, including mr. Trump, along with the attorneys in this case, from making or posting any statements publicly targeting the special counsel, his staff, including
Government Counsel here today, as well as any statements publicly targeting any of my staff or any other court personnel. It should go without saying that statements targeting the families of any of these people are absolutely prohibited as well. Mr. Trump can certainly claim he is being unfairly prosecuted, but i cannot imagine any other criminal case in which a defendant is permitted to call the prosecutor deranged or a thug. And i will not permit it here, simply because the defendant is running a political campaign. His president ial candidacy does not give him a
Carrot Blanche to vilify and implicitly encourage violence against
Public Servants who are simply doing their job. Finally, i will also prohibit statements from all parties and attorneys about potential witnesses for the substance of their expected testimony. If mr. Trump wants to criticize his political rival, mister pence, he may do so. But he cannot make statements about mr. Pences role in the events underlying this case. My review of past statements made by mr. Trump in particular, as well as the evidence that they have led to harassment and threats for the people he has targeted, persuades me that without this restriction, there is a real risk that witnesses may be intimidated or unduly influenced and that other potential witnesses may be reluctant to come forward, lest they be subjected to the same harassment and intimidation. Now, let me be clear, mr. Trump may still vigorously seek public support as a president ial candidate, debate policies, and people related to that candidacy criticize the current administration, and assert his belief that this prosecution is politically motivated. But those critical
First Amendment freedoms do not allow him to launch a pretrial,
Smear Campaign against participating government staff, their families, and foreseeable witnesses. No other criminal defendant would be allowed to do so, and i am not going to allow it in this case. Joining us now hour andrew weissmann, former fbi
General Counsel and former chief of the
Criminal Division in the
Eastern District of new york. Also with us, neal katyal, former acting u. S. Solicitor general and host of the
Podcast Courtside with neal katyal. They are both msnbc legal analysts. Also with us tonight, roger parloff. He is a
Senior Editor at lawfare, and he was at the courthouse for todays hearing. Roger, we always begin with anyone who heard everything that happened in that courtroom today. What was it like . We have read the transcript, but it seems like the judge certainly at the end, took full control this . Yeah, it was very exciting. Everyone in the media room had a sense that this is an unprecedented issue. It is an incredibly sensitive
First Amendment issue. And that is really nothing there isnt a whole lot known on this. Its a little surprising that you think it would come up more often. But where a party, as opposed to an attorney, is creating this sort of issue, it is incredibly sensitive. And it was an exciting hearing. Neal katyal, donald trump said today that he is going to appeal. I did not hear of that one thats going nowhere. And roger is right that theyre not accusing him of a case law. But the reason is because, lawrence, no criminal defendant in their right mind would act the way donald trump did. I mean, the crazy part of this situation is not that a judge issued a gag order against the leading president ial candidate. The crazy part is that a leading president ial candidate has made a habit of threatening and attacking witnesses and prosecutors and court officials. Thats the story. And donald trump is incapable of doing anything else. Thats why i think its like a coin flip, whether trump is gonna violate this gag order first, or whether the house is going to elect a new speaker first. And so, to me, like what happened today, if anything, trump getting
Special Treatment. I mean, you can try and appeal this. But the fact is, no other criminal defendant, and judge chutkan, she is absolutely right, can even get away and shes allowing to get away with that here. And the gag order it simply tells trump to behave. But he has a modicum of decency, which is probably why it will be so hard to follow that. Yeah, andrew, reading the transcript that judge seemed to indicate that no other defendant ever would have gotten this far. It would never have come to this. So, there is this element of some
Special Treatment here. I think thats right. I agree with you. I agree with neal on that. I would point out that the two cases that i can think of where this has happened, where there have been a socalled gag order, with respect to not the lawyers but to the defendants, our
Paul Manafort and roger stone. All defendants were related to, closely, to donald trump. And to tie it to this past horrendous week of violence, you have the former president of the
United States now being subject to two court orders in connection with a civil matter and a criminal matter, where the courts have said, and i am quoting from judge chutkan, that is language that implicitly encourages violence against
Public Service or simply doing their job. This is a former president implicitly encouraging violence. And this is at a time that we are seeing what can happen when people resort to violence instead of the rule of law. So, i think it is an important thing that the judge did over here. And i think its an important thing that the state judge did in a civil case. And it remains to be seen whether he adheres to both of these gag orders. And, roger parloff, the judge let the
Trump Defense lawyer go off in a direction that she ultimately labeled as campaign rhetoric. Yes. She did. She tried she commented that he was obviously speaking for an audience of one of times, and she trying to write him back and. But the things she said twice that struck me, she mentioned this famous line, no one can rid me of this troublesome priest, you know, the line from henry ii, before the murder of thomas beckett. And obviously, she thinks these tweets are not just rude or impolite. He understands that they are pushing those more unstable supporters to go out, harass, and intimidate, and threaten and possibly harm witnesses. And there is a record that hes done this in the past. And thats been the effect. And i thought she was very, you know, adamant that this has to stop. Roger parloff, neal katyal, andrew weissmann, thank you all very much for joining this discussion. Thank you. Coming up, we return live to israel with
