I think youre going to see an incredible contrast between two very different people who will be well prepared. Someone doing an incredible job and thinks about other people. A job that youll think about yourself, power, grievance, to take ourselves back wards. She will be very strong, clear, powerful. People who dont know who she is that prosecuted criminals that she was an attorney general. That she was a strong senator and that is Vice President. She has done an incredible job of helping President Biden lead this country through very difficult times. I expect her to do very well. Donald trump is not somebody who could control himself much less follow the rules. It will be like seven major debates and a Ruckus Night is my anticipation. Lets talk about trumps voluntary and joy in the middle of all the division. As you said, Donald Trump might say something derogatory about her. What should her response to that be . Should she punch back . Should she stick with Joy Message and kind of dismiss what he does . First of all the theme is a new way forward. The american people are sick and tired. Where you woke up every day thinking what did you make to a new way forward to a future that protects peoples rights. Donald trump is saying he wants to take us back to a dark day where things are not so great. So she will make that case over and over again. However, she does that in a joyful way. She will brush Donald Trump off as she has done in the past when he says ignorant things that guys like him have said. Ma sole judgistic thing, racist thing. And she will talk to The American people in a direct way and remind them shes the one on their side. During the debate, we should expect the Iron Fist in the Glove Kind of situation . Let me say this. Youre talking to a skilled person who has served in the office for a very long time and can take care of herself. Most importantly, she will demonstrate to The American people shes tough, smart, normal, which is amazing that you have to say that, and shes there fighting for him. Donald trump is fighting for himself. You can expect he wont be able to control himself because he cant. His team suggested the microphone be off because they want to shut him up. Well see how it goes. Remember he has debated more times than anybody, but she will be prepared. Does this mic Thing Matter . At The End of the day, it could potentially matter if Donald Trump acts in a way to make it possible to concentrate whats going on. But the incredible difference between the two individuals and the choice The American people have to make is clear. But i think it will be pretty clear after the debate, which is which. The poll i mentioned earlier, thats within the margin of error. Why do you think the race has been this close . It is the way from the beginning and it will be that way until the last day where the Vice President has spoken very closely to all of this. Dont take anything for granted, its Neck And Neck with the underdog. You have to go out to make sure you security the democracy. Freedom is not free. You go out and you vote, and you can convince your folks to vote. At The End of the day, we are prepared and we need good about our ability to get there. The campaign is launching a u new mission wide ad called the new way forward. I want to play a clip from that ad. This election is about two very different visions for our nation. One, focus on The Future. The other, focus on the past. When the middle class is strong, america is strong. Lowering tHe Cost of goal. Why does the Campaign Think of the forward messaging introduce new voters . They have a time that was not good for everybody. It was an old, and people are really tired about that. Theyre looking far way to find common ground and the need to make sure we reduce peoples costs. Make sure we reduce the burden that americans have had for the last so many years. The Vice President has a clear plan to do that. I think people are looking for The Future rather than the past. The future generally wins election, not the past. Donald trump has been found liable for sexual abuse as the judge said, rape. He has been liable for business fraud, and unseemly to put have said please dont return him to the Oval Office and, of course, Dick Cheney said he shouldnt be anywhere around the Oval Office. Thats a Big Red message as well. Harris and walz will kick off the Battleground Tour starting in North Carolina after the debate. What are they hoping to achieve in this space before voters start to hit the polls . You know, if you want, they used to see any of it. Tim walz and Kamala Harris wont leave any votes behind in any one of those battleground states. They will be traveling on a third round of this, as will their surrogates, making sure we touch everybody everywhere in rural areas, in urban areas. Connect to the everyday lives of working families. Thats what people want to hear, right . Thats what the poll mentioned earlier and said 28 of the people still want to hear about her. Thats what they want to know. They want to know what shell do for their families and she does that incredibly well. I think the advice to President Trump that he needs to let her speak. I think that would help a lot of voters, but i do think that will be incredibly bad advice for him. The idea that had Donald Trump, that this debate is an opportunity for Vice President harris and not at all for trump. That is misguided. I think people, they want to hear what hes going to do and they have not heard that. You can play to the Hometown Crowd and talk to people who were with him. But the people lifted up on tuesday, if you dont have a plan for working families, you dont plan to help. But he needs to point out what hes actually going to do. None of this rambling through a bunch of words, getting to The End of it. Letting people fill in the blanks. If he cant do that, people should hear very clearly that he does not plan on working on their behalf. What do you think that Kamala Harris will have to do to win the debate . If that is something they could win the debate on Tuesday Night . That is an important point that you make and go in to it and not the attitude that One Of Us will walk off the stage alive and it will be me. I think what she ought to do is prosecute Donald Trump where she will do it comfortable to the part where the ability. And you should play. Thats been done. Prosecuting from the failed president who would attempt to be the president , but they could get there and argue about policy. I mean one guy is a huge set and he should hold them to that standard. Maya, trump seems to once again undermine confidence in the election. On social media, he threatened to jail any of the adversaries who cheat. Listen to what he had to say in wisconsin yesterday. Weve got the lead. Weve got the people. Weve got to stop the cheating. If we stop that cheating. We dont let them cheat. I dont even need to campaign anymore. Well win by so much. This idea of jailing people for voting has been a tactic since the beginning of jim crow. Is that whats happening here . That is exactly. It should be every question that every republican who is going to support him to be answering. This should be disqualified for him that, extending that to voters, donors. Political operative. And it is Voter Suppression at the highest order. Trying to scare people out of participating in the process. And that goes against every single thing that you would stand for as a country. It should not be treated as thats just Donald Trump melting down On Social Media again. We have to stop this. He has a different bar because we are so used to him spouting nonsense, and shay should be leaving with how do you . And about shifting positions on sunday. I dont think shes abandoning her ideals, but shes trying to be passengermatic and try shes going to win, and i think she will win big. Is that enough to silence the critics . It is exactly right. Look, what we can find out about candidates is their values. If you hold to your values and hold onto your issues when you learn something new, thats the definition of a leader.
