MTA jacking up tolls on New York City bridges and tunnels :

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority board on Thursday approved a round of toll hikes that will increase the price to use the crossings from $6.12 to $6.55 for New York City resident with E-ZPass, and from $9.50 to $10.17 for residents outside the city and those who do not have an E-ZPass.
