Muddy River dredging progresses to Work Area #4 February 26, 2021, by Zlatan Hrvacevic Dredging activities continue to progress on Phase 2 of the $36.5 million Muddy River Flood Risk Management project in Boston and Brookline, Massachusetts, reports the Army Corps’ New England District. Beginning March 1, 2021, work will progress to Work Area #4 in the vicinity of Riverway and Netherlands Road (near the Brookline DPW building), said USACE in the release. Temporary construction fencing will be installed to prepare the area for mobilization of dredging equipment. As reported, dredging will begin in Work Area #4 mid- to late-March once the temporary construction fencing is installed and dredging is completed in Work Area #3.
