An Australian mum has impressed home cooks around the country with her quick and easy trick for shredding poached chicken using a microwave.
Savvy mother Rachael shared the secret to a popular cookery Facebook group and said she cooked the chicken in a bowl of water in the microwave for sandwich fillings.
To minimise the cooking time, Rachael placed Glad Wrap over the bowl and poked three small holes through the plastic.
The clever technique only takes eight minutes to cook the meat and allows the chicken to shred easily.
