Mumbai Metro-2B: Mandale Depot Work Allotted To New Contractor After Just 7 Per Cent Progress In 2 Years A Mumbai Metro bridge under construction. (Ramnath Bhat) The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has handed the contract of the Mandale Depot Works for Metro-2B to a new contractor at a 14 per cent highest cost than the prior estimation, Hindustan Times has reported. The responsibility to carry out the work was initially given to a firm in January 2018 at a cost of Rs 390.43 crores. In contrast the new contract is worth Rs 530.32 crore though the initial evaluation of the project was around Rs 464.75 crore.
