Murder charge filed in weekend shooting death FacebookTwitterEmail 3of3 A Jacksonville man was arrested Tuesday on a charge of murder in the weekend shooting death of a former Jacksonville resident. Joshua E. Wilson, 37, of Jacksonville was arrested about 1 p.m. Tuesday. He is accused of fatally shooting Malcolm V. Fitts, 26, a former Jacksonville resident who was living in Chicago. The reason behind the shooting has not been explained. Fitts, a father of four, was in Jacksonville to visit his daughter and mother, brother-in-law Chris Pulley told the Journal-Courier. Pulley described him as a loyal friend and family member. “He was a fun person, he had a lot of energy — a positive energy,” Pulley said. “He was fun to be around and he made you feel loved.”
