The Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting zero flu outbreaks this season. Flu season dates all the way back to the beginning of October, and usually peaks this time of the year. The flu traditionally sends thousands of people to the hospital each year in Illinois. This year, the IDPH is reporting just 11 people have been hospitalized with the flu. ###
