Maria who volunteers at CVS CUMBRIA Voluntary Service have launched their ‘Get into volunteering’ scheme. The service will be running sessions online for a week starting from June 4 as part of National Volunteers’ Week. Cumbria Volunteering service will be working with a number charities from all around the county to produce 15 online events for people to get more information on what getting involved in volunteering is like and the different charities that you can help out with. Some of the charities that will be taking part in the week long event are Workington Playgoers Theatre Royal Workington, Hospice at Home, Eden Carers ,Animal Rescue Cumbria and North West Ambulance.
