Rainy weather on Sunday will cause issues throughout the week due to rivers and creeks cresting beyond their banks and causing flooding along multiple roadways in the tri-county area. County engineer offices and sheriff departments issued warnings to drivers throughout the area to beware of high water and "to turn around, don't drown." Not all drivers heeded the call with multiple vehicles caught up in the flooding on roads in low-lying areas. Trees down and water rising The National Weather Service reported 2.5 to 3 inches of rain fell in the Ashland area on Sunday. The biggest issue was flooding along the Black Fork near Shelby, which was causing some problems downstream.
