A man, charged with pushing over a 53-year-old at a Coffs Harbour pub, has now been accused of assault causing death. Police say the victim was involved in a physical altercation at The Plantation Hotel on Saturday night, where he fell and hit his head on a concrete floor. Two days later, emergency services found the 53-year-old dead at a unit on Korff Street. A crime scene was set up and forensically examined. As part of Strike Force Boodgery’s investigations, a 44-year-old man was arrested over the assault at Woolgoolga on April 13. He was charged at Coffs Harbour Police Station with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
