Nearly one-third fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by: The North Platte Bulletin - Apr. 26, 2021 Top News Nearly 30% of people 16 and older are now fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in the six counties of the West Central Health District, according to the state tracking system. The numbers are updated HERE each Wednesday by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Statewide, the total of fully vaccinated people 16 and older is nearly 40%. As of April 22, the WCDHD’s “risk dial” stands at 1.78, in the moderate level. The risk level decreased a bit from the preceding week, dropping from 1.83. There were 38 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the WCDHD from April 15-21. Four COVID-19 patients were in Great Plains Health hospital as of April 22, according to WCDHD reports.
