Netflix is cracking down on password sharing with new test feature scandal 12/03/2021 Look out password sharers, Netflix is cracking down on ‘account borrowers’ with a new test feature that asks “Is this your account?” The pop up says, "If you don't live with the owner of this account, you need your own account to keep watching." A warning has been popping up and requesting people to verify that it is their account with a verification code. Some users on Twitter have been getting the pop-up but luckily have been able to use the ‘Verify Later’ button. It’s not clear when this will start to become more widespread but this is your warning that you might eventually get kicked off of your ex’s account!
