New Concord man facing 16 years in prison for rape The Daily Jeffersonian A New Concord man will face up to 16 1/2 years in prison when he is sentenced next month in the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court after entering a negotiated plea to a first-degree felony rape charge on Monday. Mark A. Lehner, 23, was convicted of the rape charge after entering a guilty plea and the court ordered a presentence investigation report be completed prior to the sentencing hearing on Aug. 26. Guernsey County Prosecuting Attorney Lindsey Angler and defense attorney Jack Blakeslee will argue for an indefinite sentence from a minimum penalty of 3 to 4 1/2 years to 11 to 16 1/2 years.
