After OTT player voiced concerns on the government’s new rules governing digital content services, Information & Broadcasting (I&B) on Friday Ministry sought to address their concerns. 
Amit Khare, Secretary, I&B Ministry said the new rules are not meant to measure all content platforms such as television, print and web series by the same yardstick, however, there needs to be some similarity in regulatory oversight for all.
