AUBURN â The DeKalb County Health Department on Friday reported 13 new cases of COVID-19 in DeKalb County residents. It is the highest one-day total since Feb. 19. In total, 105 cases have been confirmed in the first 16 days of April â an average of 6.6 per day. However, in the past seven days, the county has reported 74 cases for an average of 10.6 per day. Fridayâs new patients include two between 11-20 years old; five between ages 21-30; two from 31-40 years old; two in the 41-50 age bracket; and two between 51-60 years old. Of the 74 cases reported in April, only five involve patients over the age of 70.
